What a Break! My sad nail :(
As I was closing the windows tonight I had a big mishap! I had a tiny break in this nail but used the Orly Nail Rescue to save it the past 2 color changes. I haven't had my nails this long in forever...maybe from when I was pregnant years ago. I have been using Nailtiques Formula 2 and they have grown so well and I have no issues. I also use their nail moisturizer and cuticle oil. This is a sad day. I may file them down now....not sure what to do. I have surgery this Thursday and cannot wear polish anyways. So, here is the mishap...before and after. Excuse the so so pics because it is late and dark. So, my question is do you like your nails short, long or in between? These are getting in the way lately!

As much as I love polish i could never have a nail blog because my nails are always breaking. I've never had the best nails and I just don't take the time to really care for them other than to polish them. Right now my nails are at a good length (in between), but this is also about the time when they will begin breaking. Usually when one breaks I just cut them all down.
ReplyDeleteYou have nice nails...sorry about the break. That was a pretty drastic break. I don't like really short nails (on me). I like in between nails. They don't interfere with things like typing and household duties. When I wore acrylics for about 3 months they really got in the way of everything for me, so i just can't deal with long nails.
OMG! That's awful! I'm dealing with a small split on my index finger-trying to baby it until it grows out. Hope yours grows back out soon!
ReplyDeleteI prefer my nails relatively short. It makes living a lot easier. Hopefully yours will grow out soon. But you may just like having them a bit shorter.
ReplyDeleteI think they look pretty long but it is much easier with them a bit shorter. I love when they all look perfectly squared. My Mom always say they look fake!
